Four sauces came out on top:
- Ketchup, the classic
No, not the one from the supermarket, but Kursaal ketchup. Fruity, fresh with a tangy twist. It goes best with the Rooftop chips, burgers and anything from the grill. We won’t reveal the recipe, but it contains tomato, raspberry vinegar and spices.
- Café de Paris, the luxurious one
Spices, cream and herbs – that’s what makes it special. It belongs to the elegant side of barbecuing. Butter, herbs, spices and lemon for a splash of acidity are what make it special.
- BBQ, the Smoky One
It’s an indispensable part of the sauce quartet at the Rooftop Grill: elegant, smoky and fruity, it harmonises perfectly with the meat. What makes it unique?
The peach pulp.
- Chimichurri, the slightly spicy one
It brings the taste of Argentina to your plate. With its freshness and pleasant chilli kick, it is the ideal accompaniment to all meats and is also vegan.
For the sauce, herbs, garlic and chilli are marinated in vinegar and oil.
- Aioli, the intense one
It’s so creamy it can be addictive. It’s the perfect accompaniment to chips or burgers. It has an intense, natural garlic flavour – pure Mediterranean delight and vegan.
You’ll have to make a choice – or simply try them all.
