Best consolidated result for ten years: "We reduced expenses and costs and thus significantly improved our result. For the first time in ten years, we achieved a consolidated net income of more than CHF 5.6 million, "explains Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Buser in the Annual Report 2018 of Kongress + Kursaal Bern AG. Thus, the Bernese company could again improve its consolidated net result in the financial year 2018 (2017: 4.7 million).
2017 Annual Report
2017 will go down in the history of Kursaal Bern as the year of the "turnaround" according to the President of the Board of Management, Prof. Dr. Daniel Buser, in the recently published Annual Report. Optimisations were achieved throughout the company and this positively impacted the business result. The outcome was a consolidated net result in 2017 that was almost twice as high as in 2016: CHF 4.7 million (2016: 2.6 million).
2016 Annual Report
Kursaal Bern experienced a year of change in 2016, which pervaded all levels of the company. The Bernese company's consolidated net result in 2016 almost came to CHF 2.6 million, about CHF 0.8 million below the previous year, although that was mainly due to special factors.
