We have taken advantage of the summer to modernise our garden and atrium areas. Warm, soft colours, plenty of wood, and a design aesthetic that complements the Giardino Restaurant & Bar – this is the new look of our garden areas. Whilst the upgrades to the underlying infrastructure and technology are not visible, they are immediately noticeable whenever you use the space.
A year ago, we turned a garden room into a showroom. “The feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive,” says Isabel Niklaus, COO of the Kursaal Bern Conference Centre. She is convinced that it is always worth creating a showroom. “Building on this, we have made a few minor improvements that benefit our guests.”
The new garden rooms live up to their name not only through their access to the garden, but also visually with their sage-coloured paintwork. Overall, the rooms offer a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
The atrium rooms have also been plastered, painted and refurbished. They now feel airier and fresher. The colour scheme remains pastel-toned, calm and relaxing. Thanks to the magnetic board surface, flipcharts and pinboards are no longer needed. This gives the rooms a tidy, clean-lined and uncluttered look. “So that wild ideas have room to breathe,” says Isabel Niklaus with a wink. The rooms captivate with their focused atmosphere, ideal for workshops and meetings. Modern, hybrid conference technology is simply part of the package here – at no extra cost, just like the refreshment buffet outside the rooms.
