Our commitment

We are Green Key certified, have attained “level III leading” from Swisstainable and work with myclimate “Cause We Care” and United Against Waste.

If you want to get involved too, we offer you myclimate “Cause We Care” overnight stays where you and we both make a contribution to a climate protection project. Ask the reception team about myclimate “Cause We Care”.

You can see our efforts in your room: we have paper laundry bags, dispensers in the bathroom, a cardboard pen and even a room card made of cherry wood. But we're also using up the plastic items we still have in stock. After all, throwing things away unused cannot be sustainable. The coffee cream pods remain as we're still looking for a plastic-free solution.

Changed traffic routing

Changed traffic routing

From Monday, 17 February 2025, there will be a change in traffic routing due to the closure of the Kornhausbrücke. The journey via the Bern-Wankdorf motorway exit (2 km away) will remain unchanged. From Bern railway station, the replacement bus line 9 A (direction Schönburg/Viktoriaplatz) will take you to Viktoriaplatz in 5-10 minutes. After about 260 metres you will reach the entrance to the Kursaal Bern.
