Mario Biondi, with his unmistakably deep, warm and sensual voice, is an outstanding artist. Born Mario Ranno, he chose his stage name in honour of his father, Stefano Biondi.

His breakthrough came with the single This Is What You Are, which was made famous throughout Europe by BBC1 DJ Norman Jay. In 2006, he released his first album Handful of Soul, which went platinum in just a few months. This was followed by further successes such as the live album I Love You More, the Christmas album Mario Christmas and numerous collaborations with artists such as Chaka Khan and Earth, Wind & Fire.
With albums such as Sun (2013), Best of Soul (2016), Dare (2021) and Romantic (2022), Biondi proved his love of soul and jazz music. In 2023, Crooning Undercover was released, accompanied by international tours that included over 100 concerts in 22 countries. In 2024, he continued this success with further performances and new projects.
