Flavoursome variety for your brunch in Bern

At the weekend, treat yourself to a wide selection of cold and warm brunch dishes, a variety of tea and coffee specialities, fresh juices and a glass of prosecco. The delicious pastries and home-made specialities, such as honey from the Kursaal’s own bees and home-made jams, are made to be enjoyed. As are the local butter and the charcuterie from the local butcher.

Experience the highlight of our extensive dessert buffet: the chocolate fountain, which is loved by more than just our younger guests. For our younger guests, we have created the “Kids Corner”, where children can have fun while adults relax and savour the moment.

The Kursaal honey, butter, cheese, charcuterie and organic eggs come from regional producers. And then there’s our home-made jam. This is made from perfectly good fruit from surplus production that would otherwise have been discarded – one of our commitments to combating food waste.

In the warmer months, you can enjoy brunch with all the highlights in the beautiful Kursaal garden.
Decide without weather stress: in bad weather, we move brunch to the cosy winter garden of the Giardino Restaurant & Bar - with a view of our green oasis. So the garden feeling is guaranteed even on cloudy days.

Our commitment

We are committed to combating food waste. We have now taken things a step further and adopted the Food Save principle, i.e. rescuing perfectly good food that is not suitable for retail. This food usually either comes from overproduction or does not meet retailers' standards with regard to shape or size and would otherwise be destroyed.
