
Rooftop concept convinces
"The Rooftop is a cool place for the summer. I want to make the guests happy there and create a good vibe." He is looking forward to satisfied, happy guests and the best summer vibes above the rooftops of the city. He can hardly imagine a better place to create his BBQ dishes. The concept on the roof terrace has won the 26-year-old over.
Sharing is caring
He doesn't want to commit to one dish as a special recommendation. His tip: "The different portion sizes make the dishes suitable for sharing. With three people, for example, three main courses and five side dishes and everyone shares everything, like a tavolata." Each main course comes with a side dish and both the Pork Secreto and the Beef Bavette are served in two sizes. The 900g tomahawk steak is perfect for sharing anyway.
From ice hockey to barbecuing
With his passion for cooking and barbecuing, the Ticino native is ideally qualified to be head chef at the Rooftop Grill. The Ticino native always knew he wanted to be a chef. He can pinpoint exactly when his passion for barbecuing began. "At the ice hockey club, we used to organise a BBQ party for several hundred people every year. When I was 12, I was allowed to grill ribs, sausages and things like that. I enjoyed it so much that I continued to help out, even when I was no longer actively playing myself."
