Indulgent brunch in the heart of Bern

For a sweet start, why not try our wide selection of baked goods, home-made jams and honey from the Kursaal’s own bees? If you prefer keeping it savoury, you’ll be well served with our organic eggs, butter and cheese from a local dairy and charcuterie from the local butcher. You can then move on to enjoy delicious hot dishes prepared at live cooking stations. The vegan corner also offers sophisticated treats for you. All this while savouring coffee, tea and fruit juices. Fitting for a holiday, a glass of prosecco is included.

Chocolate fountain and fun for children

Leave room for the grand dessert buffet for the crowning end to your brunch. The highlight of our varied dessert buffet is our chocolate fountain, which is loved by more than just our younger guests.

Speaking of young guests: parents can eat and drink in peace thanks to our “Kids Corner” with Johnny the tram driver. It's the perfect place for children to play and have fun while the adults relax and enjoy. So everyone can have a great time.

Regional and home-made

The Kursaal honey, butter, cheese, charcuterie and organic eggs come from regional producers. And then there’s our home-made jam. This is made from perfectly good fruit from surplus production that would otherwise have been discarded – one of our commitments to combating food waste.

Sitting at the table chatting and eating for hours on end is rarely fun for children. Our younger guests can look forward to playing in the “Kids Corner” and to Johnny the tram driver with his surprises. Boredom doesn’t stand a chance here.

Our commitment

We are committed to combating food waste. We have now taken things a step further and adopted the Food Save principle, i.e. rescuing perfectly good food that is not suitable for retail. This food usually either comes from overproduction or does not meet retailers' standards with regard to shape or size and would otherwise be destroyed.
