Event calendar

On 26 December 2024, you will experience the most traditional Swiss professional boxing event in the Kursaal Arena in Bern. The highlight of the boxing spectacle is Angelo Peña's WBO Intercontinental title defence. Prior to this, you can expect top-class professional fights with Swiss participation - including the up-and-coming talent Félix Meier.

The ‘Anime Sympho-Show’ by 38 SAMURAI offers a musical experience with over 20 soundtracks from popular anime such as Attack on Titan, Naruto and Dragon Ball. The orchestra, consisting of 38 artists, a rock band and soloists, combines symphony, energy and visual show for an unforgettable concert.

The symphony orchestra ‘Lords of the Sound’ presents the programme ‘The Music of Hans Zimmer’, which includes the best-known compositions of the famous film composer. Soundtracks from films such as Dune, The Dark Knight, Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean will be performed live to experience the unique atmosphere of his works.

In his music, Giuseppe Verdi shows us great love and tragedy in an ingenious way in La Traviata, Aida and Rigoletto. His works exude great passion and lyricism, but also joy in humor and wit. All of this finds expression during this wonderful concert.

An impressive tribute show brings ABBA back to the stage with modern technology and authentic details.

Ennio Morricone's music for “The Hateful 8”, “Play Me the Song of Death” and “Two Glorious Scoundrels” will be performed live by 80 musicians from the Milano Festival Opera under Marco Seco and Marcin Wolniewski. Experience the composers up close with screen animations.

The Concert 

The success of Peter Jackson's film will be celebrated with the large orchestra “Cinema Festival Symphonics”. Under the direction of Stephen Ellery, fans will experience Howard Shore's music from “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”, accompanied by impressive screen and light animations.
