Wine partner: TERRAVIGNA
Originality and quality are the premises for the production of all de Venoge champagnes. For its champagnes, de Venoge uses only the highest quality must from the first stage of pressing, known as «cuvée» in champagne production. A procedure that only a few top houses can afford. It guarantees the highest level of elegance and finesse, which is evident in the house's various cuvées. Speaking of different cuvées: the house has one of the most extensive collections of old vintages in the Champagne region with almost 20,000 bottles.
Rooted in Switzerland
The origins of the de Venoge champagne house go back to Switzerland. It was founded in 1837 by Henri-Marc de Venoge, an entrepreneur from the canton of Vaud. The name «de Venoge» comes from the river of the same name, which flows through the canton of Vaud and was the inspiration for the famous blue ribbon («Cordon Bleu»). Henri-Marc de Venoge also proved to be a pioneer in marketing: he introduced the first illustrated label for champagne bottles in 1838 and established the Cordon Bleu in 1851, which still symbolises the identity of the house today.
We will present the menu and the cuvées to you a few weeks before the event.
